A BED FOR EVERY CHILD EVENT
The BED FOR EVERY CHILD EVENT hosted in April by the John W. Hughan Foundation at Norwell High was a resounding success, bringing together over 40 local teens for a day of providing a safe place to rest for children in need.
Pairing with A Bed for Every Child, we built 10 beds for children. Participants helped with event preparations, worked side by side with community members, and experienced firsthand how service can unite and empower. The energy in the room was inspiring — young people left knowing that giving back is powerful and rewarding.
A Bed for Every Child's mission is to provide children in need in Massachusetts with safe and comfortable beds. They believe that every child deserves a place to rest and dream big. The organization works to address the critical issue of children not having access to proper sleeping arrangements and aims to improve children's well-being, growth, and ability to thrive, particularly in the classroom, by ensuring they have a bed to sleep in.
